I am just starting to move closer to my dream of running my own business. I recently got married and loved organising my wedding so this made me think. My husband and I have worked in the theatrical Industry for many years so have produced and worked on small and large scale productions and events. When I mentioned about becoming a wedding planner we started to research and discovered that if we combined our skills we could offer a niche business. I am reading so many books at the moment (and I am not a reader) its crazy. I have a new zest for life and a zest for knowing more. We have given ourselves a projected launch date of September as the wedding season begins again then. So fingers crossed if I can fit my wedding planner advanced certificate and all my business research and planning around our full time jobs we should be ready to go by that date. I have just had a quick look at this site and can see that i will find lots of advice and I am so grateful for this.

Like you all I want our business to work so will take any advice, help, anything that I can get.
